Concentration curl

Concentration curl: This exercise involves the brachioradial and the anterior brachial muscles, more than the brachial one. This is because the arm is placed before. The exercise can be done using leg’s internal part, near the knee, to support and stop the arm. The forearm will be slowly bent on the arm.

Larry Scott: This exercise is useful to strengthen the inferior part of the arm, the brachioradial and the anterior brachial muscles. Bar’s resistance stops before completing the movement, therefore it is necessary to do incomplete contractions which cause the stretching of the tendon and, consequently, of the whole muscle. 

   

Standing bar curl

Standing bar curl: Shoulder width grip and forearms well-stretched along the body. At the end of the exercise, elbows will be slightly bent forward. A part from brachial biceps, other forearm muscles work, too. In the preparation stage knees should be slightly bent and legs slightly apart. 

   

Cable curl

Cable curl: Similar to standing bar curl, with the advantage that machine resistance remains the same even with the forearm bent.

Curling machine: placing the arm forward, the results are similar to the exercise Larry scott, with the advantage that machine cams allow a steady work.
